Photoshop online tutorial & training: How to Create a Clean Interface in Photoshop

This tutorial you will learn how to create a simple interface in Photoshop. This layout can be used as a business layout, corporate website, or even a wordpress theme. For start i will create a new document, and i will fill the background layer with the following color: #ece5db

On the bottom of the layout i will create a round shape with Rounded Rectangle Tool. Before i will create the shape i will set the foreground color to: #f6f2ed, and then i will draw the shape.

For the shape from above i will add also a simple layer style.

On the header of the website i will create a simple dark shape. The color used for this shape is #2d2b26, and you can create this shape with Rectangle Tool.

I will duplicate this shape, and i will place it also on the bottom of the layout. To duplicate a layer you need to select the right layer, and then press on CTRL+J. With Move tool i will nudge the shape to the bottom.

Please add also the following layer style for both shapes. I am talking about the header and the footer dark shape.

Right under the top header shape, i will create another shape. Here i will place later a logo.

Also for this shape i will add some simple layer styles.

One more time i will use Rounded Rectangle Tool to create a shape. Here i will add later a image. If you want you can create a slide show using jQuery.

For now i will place only a simple image.

With Horizontal type tool i will write some text menus.

Between menus i will add some vertical lines.

In the following image you can see some the color of the lines i have used.

I will create also a text logo.

On the right side i will create also the search box. To create this you need to use Rounded Rectangle Tool. If you look on my previous tutorials you will find also the layer style i have used for this search form.

On the middle of the layout i will add also a image and some content.

For that featured image i have used the following layer styles.
